Peer-to-Peer influence is important to consider when you want to disciple a Generation of children and youth. How do we change the voice of the child who will impact their friends to raise a new standard? Investing in young leaders is a must!
The International Leadership Academy (ILA) is a leadership development programme designed for secondary school students (ages 13 to 17).  These student leaders and their educators undergo separate and combined practical training, developing a holistic approach to leadership (spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and professional). The Academy is designed not only to increase the amount of influence these young leaders allow you to have in their life, but also to teach and encourage them to better their community.

The Academy is a four-year programme, beginning with learners in grade 8.  These learners are challenged each year to impact their community by completing a community project.  Upon completion of their project, within six months of the training camp, learners qualify to continue in the programme.

The International Leadership Academy has grown immensely over the last few years! ILA Director’s trainings are normally hosted once a year to training churches on how to launch their own camp.

We are hopeful that this programme will impact more than just South African youth, as we have had the opportunity to train ILA Director from Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, Tanzania, India, Madagascar and Zambia over the years.
